Second week of the semester and I can already feel the stress coming πŸ™‚

Last week was all about signing up, getting my domain situated, and getting other stuff started with other classes. This week was all about DOING. I did two Daily Create challenges and watched The End movie clip, the youtube video about story telling. Oh, and the Twitter article. And the Apocalypse SF article. & I also made a story and posted it on my domain!

I really enjoyed all the challenges and analyzing everything! Especially the storytelling videos and creating a story about anything. I struggled brainstorming what in the world I was going write a story about, so I thought about the most basic story. The story was inspired by the fictional stories my mom used to tell me at night (lol) and my sister and I rode horses, one named Elli Mae, my family, and I grew up on a farm.

The first Daily Create Challenge I did was Apocalyptic flash fiction, a short story on Twitter about zombies. I have always been interested in a Zombie apocalypse because truthfully that’s the only category I’ve ever really seen. The Walking Dead is a Netflix original that I have binged before, so I am familiar with what that’s like. But I would also like to venture out to a different genre of apocalypses.

I shared that I went to McDonalds and I thought that the gif I used fit pretty well. The gif was a bunch of young aged zombies around the food-court. Where you can typically find me during the apocalypse and I doubt I’ll be alone

OH and I also applied for an internship!! How exciting. It was a busy and hectic week. The internship I applied for is called Aerotek, my boyfriends brother works for the 4th best office in the company! And also, my aunt is the CEO Executive Director of Areoteck! Crazy connections, so I hope that my family can help me out and I cannot wait to see what is in store for me in the future! & in ds 106 during the Apocalypse πŸ™‚
